Japanese binchotan charcoal from Tosa, Japan. Binchotan charcoal has been used for centuries for its excellent purification properties in reducing water hardness, abosrbing odor, and filtering for a pure fresh taste.
Use 1 stick for a personal-sized water bottle and use 2 sticks for a carafe. 1 stick can filter up to 750 ml (25.4 oz) of water.
6 binchotan charcoal sticks are included in one package. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours.
Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
