Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal; effective at absorbing odor, reducing water hardness, and improving the taste of drinking water. Filtering time is approximately 6-7 hours.
You can reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling it for 10 minutes and letting it dry.
Do not use water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
